Seat of the Soul Chair Yoga, Inc. is a nonprofit organization bringing yoga to EVERY BODY!
We aspire to give back to our community by offering Chair Yoga on a donation basis.
This gentle practice provides an opportunity for students to strengthen their body, increase range of motion & flexibility with regular practice, and promote an overall sense of health and well-being.
Our goal is to bring alternative healing tools to aid in the physical and mental health of all individuals, regardless of race, gender, age or abilities.
Each class begins with intention setting.
As we connect to our breath, we recognize the present moment. Our talented instructors will lead you through 45 minutes of seated and standing yoga postures using the chair for support.
Each class ends in a guided meditation.
Students are encouraged to follow their own pace by honoring both their physical strengths and limitations.
Our classes are currently held at a variety of locations, including churches, public libraries, and community facilities.
